STEP-BY-STEP AFFILIATE MARKETING WITH FIVERR: — $50 PER SALE NEW 2021

My first experiences with affiliate marketing

As someone who has spent a lot of time looking for new ways to make money online during quarantine, I have been absolutely inundated with information about affiliate marketing. Its almost become a meme at this point, with gurus boasting absurd numbers, like hundreds of thousands of dollars per month! My god, imagine my surprise when I saw this! Hundreds of thousands of dollars from home! I immediately followed in their footsteps, signing up for Clickbank! I got my affiliate links and tried to begin going to work. I was to advertise a weight loss supplement, so I naturally went to Facebook weight loss groups to try and advertise my product. When I got there, I was shocked to see an absolute HORDE of people with my same idea. Link after link after link after link. Nowhere was safe! Announcement about rules updated? 100 affiliate links in the replies! The hordes were restless, and it became immediately clear to me that this method of affiliate marketing was not going to work — there were just too many people already on it.

So I needed to find a new affiliate marketing platform

So, I found Fiverr’s affiliate marketing program. I suddenly knew this was going to work, because it was so simple. Its easy to advertise(everybody needs something done!), not unethical like the most popular products on Clickbank, and you have so many services you could advertise! You can advertise ANY SERVICE on Fiverr! On top of this, their commission rates are really generous if you are advertising the right things!

Look at this: if you get ONE person to buy a service for for Book/eBook writing, you get a whopping $50! One person purchases WordPress services from your link? $40! There is a catch, and it is that, only first time buyers on Fiverr will give you a commission, which is the one downside with this, but I personally believe this is worth it. It is a slept on affiliate marketing platform, so there is a lot of potential to grow if you find an effective means of advertising (I will give you some resources for this).

So how do you begin?

The website can be a bit difficult to find because they don’t want this website coming up for everyone on google when they look for Fiverr, but you can go by clicking this link here → CLICK.

Once you’re there, you should see this page: Click “Join Now” in the top right corner and set up your account.

Next, you are going to make your account. After this you’re going to have a page where its going to ask you what you intend to sell-it doesn’t change anything, just agree to the terms and privacy policy.

Next, you’re going to go to the dashboard — it is not the most user friendly, but I’ll tell you the essentials of what you need to know to get up and running:

1. Set up account details

Go to the account details tab and hit payment details. I set up my account with PayPal but you can do what works best for you.

2. Find a Fiverr gig to advertise

So, I just went to the WordPress section of Fiverr and found this gig that I am going to advertise. So, I am going to copy the link up to the ? in the address. You could copy the whole address, but it isn’t necessary (the rest is stuff Fiverr uses to track users’ activity on the website).

3. Go to the marketing tools tab, and navigate to default and deep links:

Once you are here, hit the tab called LP URL. Then, a little box will drop down: paste your link that you copied from the page you wanted to advertise and hit enter.

And bam! You have your affiliate links for this page. Now, you see 5 different links here. Let’s talk about commission plans:

So, Fiverr has two main commission plans that you can choose to advertise with. One commission model is fixed, meaning that when that first time buyer comes, you get the $50 or however much you get according to what you are advertising. Or, you could choose Fiverr’s hybrid plan, which gives you a $10 commission no matter what your first time buyer buys, however, you get a 10% commission on everything that new Fiverr user buys for the next year. Me personally, I chose fixed commission rates, but you might want to go for the hybrid depending on what you’re advertising, as not every commission is $50. You’re not restricted to one plan though, you can advertise with a hybrid commission for one service and the fixed commission for another. If you want to advertise with the fixed commission, advertise the link underneath Fiverr CPA on your Marketing Tools page. If you want to advertise Fiverr hybrid, advertise the link under that. The other 4 links are not relevant to our purposes here today so just don’t worry about those for now.

4. Advertise with your link!

If you have a content site where you write blogs, that would be a great asset here, but you could also write articles here on Medium! For example, on this account I have an article with 3 of some of the best WordPress freelancers on Fiverr. You can just embed your link in the article with each freelancer you mention. If you already have an audience on Medium or on your blog, write articles with relevant Fiverr gigs that your audience might need! Content sites are probably the most reliable ways to get traffic to your link. You could also use advertising platforms like Facebook or Google Ads but these are paid options that require money up front. Lastly, there are a great deal of people on websites like Facebook, Reddit, and Quora that will ask people in forums about where they can find someone that could provide them a service. You can just make an affiliate link with a gig they need and reply to their question with it! There are lots of ways of make money with Fiverr given how broad the amount of services there are.
